The most common paper weight requested for business cards is 14-point(pt). 14pt paper weight has a thickness of 0.014 inches. This weight is also commonly used for flyers, brouchures, and postcards.

80-point paper offers a thick, rich feeling business card.

What Artwork File Formats Are Recommended?

The most common format for submission to a print shop is the Portable Document Format (PDF). This is generally the most preferred image file format.

The PDF format commonly includes not only a visual representation of the desired output, but it can also include any specific fonts required to obtain the same look and to maintain your layout.

Other file formats we commonly receive are Adobe Photoshop (.psd), Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Encapsulated PostScript (.eps), Adobe InDesign Document (.indd), Tagged Image File Format (.tiff), Joint Photographic Experts Group (.jpeg, .jpg).

What are "Standard" Colors?

When you select a product and wish single “Standard” color pricing for printed media and signs, that single color is selected from the following list: Black, Burgundy, Red, Blue, Dark Blue, Green, Dark Green, Purple.
